Private yoga classes can be helpful for new students seeking proper alignment instruction, experienced students looking to take their practice to the next level, women exploring the modifications for their prenatal practice, or anyone seeking help with an injury or health concern. Private sessions can be taught on a one-time basis for the purpose of moving into public classes, or can be scheduled on a regular basis for those seeking to cultivate a home practice supplemented by individual instruction.
Group sessions are also available, including prenatal partner yoga.
Prices are based on a sliding scale.
I completed my 200-hour teacher training through Yoga Tree in San Francisco.
My instructors included Darren Main in philosophy and teaching methodology, Elise Lorimer in alignment, Jamie Lindsay in assisting, and Stephanie Snyder in sequencing. Additional segments included Prenatal Yoga with Jane Austin, Anatomy with Heatherly Stankey, Ayurveda with Scott Blossom, and Tantra and Sanskrit with Chris Tompkins.
